Hello out there….
It’s Sunday, Sep. 13, 2009, and we’re back in our hacienda on wheels…
Annie has finished her grueling 60, or so, miles of walk for the Breast Cancer Cause…
By the way, Dear Daughter, we cannot be more proud of what you are, and what you’re doing… You’re an inspiration to every woman alive, not to mention fathers, husbands, and sons (among others, I’m sure), and we love you more than you can imagine… You’re awesome!
To add to that plus side…
We’ve just watched the Seahawks win over the Rams…
Is life good, or what?
With that said… Let me catch you up on some of life’s “lows“…
Friday, when I tried to upload pictures to Picasa, I couldn’t…
Simple, but true….
I spent hours Friday evening, but nothing seemed to work, so, around 11 pm I finally gave up and went to bed… Hoping some rest would refresh my brain…. But… No… That didn’t work either.
I spent most of Saturday morning trying everything I knew how to do, but nothing worked… I was very distraught, as you can imagine…
All this work…
For all these months…
And…
All of a sudden I cannot upload the pictures, which I think is vital to my Blog…. Devastating!!!!!
Luanne finally saw my plight, and talked me into taking a trip to Acadia National Park to go for a walk…
Little did we realize it was over five miles long…
That’s a fair bit of hiking for a deadbeat like me…
By the time we got back to the truck, my bones and muscles alike were 104 years old!
Lu did better… But then she’s sooo much younger…
Anyway, I managed to drive us home, and then, after a little snooze, I hit the keyboard again, and, again, I had no luck loading pictures…
Read up on “everything” I could get my cursor on, and, finally, got hooked up with Windows Live, by MSN…
There you have it… The rest is history, as they say… I’ve had confirmations that things are working OK, so, I hope you’re not having any “issues” either…

Today, Sunday, Sep. 13, 2009, we took off fairly early for a tour of the countryside…
Ended up in Bucksport, where we strolled around for a while before taking Hwy 46 (between Hwys 1 and 1-A)… A very nice drive, as you can see when you look at my pictures...
Back home, we took it easy for a couple of hours, then headed into Bar Harbor, for another stroll through town… There were two cruise ships anchored out in the bay, so there were a lot of “tourists” getting in our way… Kidding!
Stopped at the Chart Room, on our way home, and made reservations for dinner next Friday night…
That’s it…… I’m caught up, and happy once again….
