PIRATE'S COVE, RAPID CITY, SD

Got up early to do bookkeeping (me), and some clothes washing (Lu).
Then, around 9:30, or so, we headed off for Walmart to get some stuff for the refrigerator.... We've been by this store a few times now, and, each time we've looked at this beautiful mineature golf course, located at the entrance to Walmart, we've said it would be fun to go and play there one day.....
Well, today was the day....
We've done the Black Hills, and all we have left on our agenda is to take in the Old Down Town, and to play this course....
18 holes took us about an hour, and was well worth the $8 per person fee.... Take a look at my pictures at:

After fun time comes shopping time, and, of course, we did some damage to the ol' cheking account in Walmart, but necessity is necessity.... Took off from there and headed a dozen blocks into down town, where we lucked out and got a parking spot right on Main Street.
Walked the whole street a couple of times, and stopped in to check out the "Prairie Edge" (Look it up : http://www.prairieedge.com/).... Fantastic store! All kinds of things, including a pound of Buffalo hamburger, which Luanne managed to make into KJØTTKAKER (meatballs for you who can't handle Norwegian), as soon as we got home.
We are now ready to eat those little critters, so I'm saying farewell, adios, and good bye for this time. Talk to you soon.

UPDATE!

So...... We decided to go and get gas for tomorrow's trip across the state before eating, and, sure enough, Luanne opinioned she'd like to check out the Historic Sawtooth Saloon, in the Piedmont Valley - a few miles back West.... And, as easily talked into things that I am, I scooted down the freeway, found the place, and parked in front.... Spent the next hour at a table for two, next to the old bar, built by a Swede in 1862..... Had a decent BLT sandwich and a few drinks, while Lu downed her quota of suds and ate eight hot chicken wings with celery..... She's a smokin' kind of gal that gal of mine!
Long story short.... Got the gas at a 4 cent discount ($2.48) per gallon, and hightailed it back to the trailer before the cops got us..... We're home.... We're good.... We're ready for some more adventure!
