Good evening, folks......... It's 6:40pm here in Perham, which makes it something else everywhere else...
We've had a few days of marginal weather with a few thunderstorms passing us by, but we got an hour of biking in each day, so can't complain too much... And who'd listen anyway?
Yesterday was right down cruddy for most of the morning, then it cleared up for a couple of hours, but it didn't take long before things socked in again....
So what do you do in situations like this?
Well, you spend quite a bit of time inside, which is kind of neat, actually.... The rain pelting down on fiberglass can be quite exhilerating (if you set your mind to it), and you snuggle up to your favorite book, and hope the darn weather will soon change.
Ditto today (almost to the comma).... we did manage to spend a little more time outdoors, and we got our one hour bike ride in, but that's about it, and I must say, I do miss the pool.... Maybe tomorrow?
Other than that, we've become accustomed to our trailer life, and love every minute of it... I knew that would happen, because that's what happened in 2000 when we took off for four months.... It's an easy, and carefree living, filled with excitement and adventure only when you are ready for it, and the cost boils down to what you are willing to splurge on or skimp on.... It's your choice.... You're the boss!
With that, I'm quitting for today........ There's lightning and thunder all around us, and it's probably not good to be sitting here typing with that kind of things going on!!!
Take care, and check back......

Hi guys. Sounds like you live the perfect life of the nomads. I don't complain either up here in the north were the days are forever and the nights a fairytail. Best summer in 20 years and south part of the country is flooding. As true nomads you should drop in for a visit, it's just a couple of miles to the north east. Glad to hear you enjoy every minute of your trip. One day we will come over and join you in hired trailer. But first we are trekking down to Spain for some weeks in late august. Internet is trouly a gift from heaven which give me the chance of working from my arctic paradise and from my hideaway place in Spain. I love that. Happy trails friends and hope to join you on the road some time.

Hey, again, Per Arne!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you, and to see that you're enjoying life, as well....
We would love to go North, then hook a right, and meet you at your cabin, but, unfortunately, my windshield wipers don't work that well, so that trip will have to wait for a bit...
I'll keep you informed about where we are, and where we're going (when we know it), and, hopefully, we'll be able to meet somewhere on the East Coast this Fall.... Wouldn't that be fun?!
Lu was saying this morning how nice it was to visit with you and Margareta last summer, and how very attentive to our every needs you were, and I must say, I totally agree! You were the perfect host, and we love you for it!
Per Arne... Don't get a big head, but you're one heck of a good guy.... Of course, you're also relative, so that explains it all, huh?
Take care, give hugs appropriately, and keep in touch!
