BUTTE, MONTANA

Just a few words to let you know that we took a short 40 mile trip (one way) from Deer Lodge to Butte today, just so we could take in the ambiance of the last day of the National Folk Festival..... It was worth the trip, and we lucked out and had nice weather the whole time we walked around the "Fairgrounds" (about half of Old Town that was blocked off from traffic).
We met the rain on our way out of town, so we were pretty lucky..... The clouds have gathered, and we have heavy rain from time to time, but I'm sure it'll turn nice over night.
I only took 22 pictures today, so Album 4 of our American Journey is pretty short.
Going to a working ranch right here in Deer Lodge tomorrow, and are planning to have a steak dinner at the local steak house after that.... I'll keep you up to date.
